| The American Thai Ridgeback Association TM (ATRA) was formed for the preservation of the first official registry, in America, for Thailand's National Dog. ATRA is an organization to serve, educate, protect, and preserve the Thai Ridgeback Dog and to assist its owners and fanciers. ATRA will register all Thai Ridgeback Dogs, both imported from Thailand and those raised here in America.
The Thailand Ridgeback Dog is recognized by the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI), the Kennel Club of Thailand (KCTH), the Asian Kennel Union (AKU), the American Rare Breed Association (ARBA), the United Kennel Club (UKC), the States Kennel Club of America (SKC), the American Canine Association (ACA), and now recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) Foundation Stock Service (FSS).
